Bras Off to NKOTB
Lately I’ve been talking to friends who recently went to the New Kids on the Block Reunion Concert. And it sounds like they’re still making girls cry(more like wet). Those guys have true die hard fans. If NKOTB endorsed Palin, they could probably get some swing votes…maybe. How do you know if you’re a true fan? Well did you ever own one of their notebooks, pencils, shoelaces, posters,shirts, fanny pack, watch, or sleeping bag. Then you probably went to the concert.
The way they described the concert was pretty amusing to hear. Old women throwing bras on the stage, girls of all ages screaming for Donnie and Jimmy or Jerry, I honestly don’t know their names. I know there’s Donnie, whose a great actor. Romeo, I don’t know. Sorry if I just desecrated your passion for NKOTB.
I’ll admit, while growing up, I hated them for the sole fact that their looks and having high voices were the success of winning girls over. Or perhaps it was the early indication that the white man were taking away our Asian girls. ha. Naw, I wouldn’t go that far. But I have to give them props. It had to be about almost 20 years ago when there were on top of their game and now they’re right back where they started. Of course, it probably took a few failing careers to make the reunion happen but most of my friends say they would go to the concert again. WOW!
If there was a band that came back to do a reunion, who would you want to see in concert. I know New Edition already did there’s and I’ll admit I was a huge fan only because of my older brother… mister telephone man, there’s something wrong with my line…But what about Bel Biv DeVoe… never trust a big butt and a smile… or maybe All 4 One…i swear, by the moon and the stars in the sky… NO NO NO. Its got to be a hip hop concert. NAUGHTY BY NATURE. They put today’s hip hop music on the radio to shame. They’ve collected a great library of legendary music like JAMBOREE and OPP and EVERYTHINGS GONNA BE ALRIGHT and FEEL ME FLOW. But the tightest is gotta be HIP HOP HOORRAY… I’m naughty by nature, not cuz i hate ya!

i def wanna see a reunion of lamar, gilbert, lewis and the gang for an encore of “clap your hands” or whatever its called. maybe they have a follow-up with an extended booger presley solo, or just takashi beating on his gong for minute, i dont care, id pay to see that.
