So I’ve been on the road since Sunday filming Rick Fox and his journey across America to the Presidential Inauguration on the 20th. First off, I just want to say that I am truly blessed to be apart of this journey and also to find work during this time of recession. Anyways, Rick’s project is being produced by a friend Jason from Siho Media, and I came on as a freelance cameraman. Read more...

If you are in the San Francisco area after New Years, check out this fund raiser through an organization I grew up in Chinatown called Cameron House. Cameron House is a multi-service agency serving Asian communities in San Francisco. I grew up in the Friday Night Club Program and their summer daycamp since I was a third grader. This place pretty much molded me to who I am today. All proceeds will benefit the Cameron House Social Services Program PLUS you get to enjoy a great show!

Take you wonder by wonder… You’re probably wondering if I’ve lost my mind and the answer is YES but its ok. It’s the result of too much karaoking. Recently I was getting a little crazy at the karaoke bar for a birthday party. (Happy Birthday Lin) And as I was belting out my best Aladdin, it reminded me of the legendary Disney movie that has this secret subliminal message. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you are in for a treat!!! Read more...

For you guys who are in the chilly Bay Area, I have a special treat for you. My girl Ali Wong is hosting a comedy series titled HOMO FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Just by judging the name of the show, it should be awesome. She’ll be at the Punch Line Comedy Club this Monday night December 22nd brought to you by the Onion Comedy Series.
As you know, we have worked on past projects together like American Apparel and Clitorus. So it should be a treat to see Ali do her thang on stage. She’s absolutely hilarious and I kinda think if you’re female, you’ll enjoy her material even more cuz she gets into the raunchy stuff that I can laugh at but never actually experienced first hand. This is something I’m not too proud of talking about since I’ve never grew up having a real tree during Christmas time. You can tell the generation gap between parents and children during this time of year. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then consider yourself lucky and “normal”. But I remember our family having a Charlie Brown “plant” to represent a tree for the holidays. It was the same plant every year until it finally died. My brother and I would always dream about having a tree in our house but American traditions like a tree, stockings, lights, all those cool things we see on TV or at my friend’s house, never existed in ours. If you guys caught Far East Movement’s ANIMAL release party online a few weeks back and became a fan, FM is having another online party. Only this time they’ll be telling the stories behind each and every track on their new album. I’m sure you can also chat online and ask them random questions too. I know I will be, FOR SURE! muhahaha.
What’s also dope is that their new single GIRLS ON THE DANCE FLOOR from the ANIMAL album is already broadcasting on the radio waves. It’s been on POWER 106 in LA on Yesi Ortiz’s “Hit or Miss“. Pretty sick huh! Read more...

Since there’s so much strugglin goin on for people and their bills, I’d thought I would investigate the possibility of other financial income. No, no, I haven’t gotten that desperate to doing porn, but it has a lot of potential. I’m talking about something men would call, HAVING A SUGAR MOMMA. Ok, random thoughts here but with the advance technology of the internet, I think it’s quite possible to find a SUGAR MOMMA. Read more...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! To all ten of you who read this! Let your tryptophan experience be as great as last years. Damn, “tryptophan”, that’s a great spelling bee word. I hate spelling bees man. It’s that time of the year in class when in front of everyone, you can show how stupid you are. Cmon seriously, that’s why we invented SPELL CHECK. I love it when you type something into Google search like THANKGIVING and you hit ENTER and it comes up with a search BUT it always says, DID YOU MEAN: THANKSGIVING. Read more...

So what do you think the percentage of people who can’t change their own spare tire??? I would assume the percentage of girls is higher than of guyss…not to be sexist, but just my common sense and society tells me that girls wouldn’t bother with flat tires. BUT what if you were stuck on the side on the highway, say the I-5, where cellphones might not work to call AAA. Then what? Wait for a stranger to pull over? YEAH RIGHT, THIS IS AMERICA, people don’t even stop to say hi. Onstar maybe? Well what if you’re rollin in a Honda Accord like most of my Asian homies? So wait til a tow truck comes to charge you a few hundred bucks OR change it yourself. Read more...

The other day we had lunch with former executive director of LINK, Adrian Hong. Liberty in North Korea (LINK) is a non-profit organization which creates awareness about the suffering and torturing thats happening in North Korea. It was absolutely mind blowing to hear about the concentration camps, the inequality of human rights, and the oppression thats happening RIGHT NOW in North Korea. Currently there are dozens of camps that hold over 200,000 citizens including children where they are forced to do such things like biochemical experiments and forced manual labor. THIS IS KIDS WE’RE TALKING ABOUT. WTF! Remember Schindler’s List, well swap out the Jews and put in Koreas. Oh and its not 1944, like 60 years ago, its today. TODAY! Read more...
