FAR EAST FUTURA

Its been a long time since we collab’d with FM on a project as it has been long overdue. We wanted to make a video that could work for their branding as well as the goals of the contest. They came dressed and ready to rock, although they didn’t bring the helmets…
This is one of our no budget heavy efx projects that we could not have done without the famous Jonathan Winbush. He really added the elements that took this project to the next level. We were going for a futuristic tron look and this is what we got. Without him, we got a 4 asian dudes acting like space mimes.
We also got to work with a new warrior, Ray Huang. HE has some mad cinematography skills. And a new producer joined us, Christina Hoang, who was relentless in keeping this job one of the most professional we’ve done. As always, our team was in effect, G money the cutter, Anson the everything, and me, I just like to eat crafties and pick up a cable every now and then. I hope you enjoy and keep comin back for new shit!

The Man From North Korea Trailer

There are some awesome things coming out of our little Los Angeles Community and even though I’m not located there I have a lot of history there. Ktown Cowboys really inspired me to share this series with the internet. Also my departure will add some closure rather than this project just dying on some hard drive that we had. Hopefully you will be engaged and maybe we can get some money to shoot this whole thing out.

THE MAN FROM NORTH KOREA

This is a story about a North Korean refugee, JAE, who comes to Los Angeles to speak at a human rights conference about the situation in North Korea. His arrival has brought a lot of attention and although his journey is righteous there will be consequences to his delivery. This whole quest takes place in one nite in Los Angeles’s ethnic enclave known as K-Town.

This project was inspired by Josh’s dream that he used to tell me about. He said he had this re-occuring dream that he could dunk. He said everything about this dream was awesome until he woke up.

Dreaming is an amazing gift that we all have been given. It is up to us to believe and achieve.
