HAPPY THANKSGIVING
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! To all ten of you who read this! Let your tryptophan experience be as great as last years. Damn, “tryptophan”, that’s a great spelling bee word. I hate spelling bees man. It’s that time of the year in class when in front of everyone, you can show how stupid you are. Cmon seriously, that’s why we invented SPELL CHECK. I love it when you type something into Google search like THANKGIVING and you hit ENTER and it comes up with a search BUT it always says, DID YOU MEAN: THANKSGIVING.
Anyways, (segue) sorry for being MIA these few days. That’s what happens when I go home to the parents house and have no internet, cable, heat, privacy, etc. etc…but I do want to share our AROWANA THANKSGIVING MEAL. Its only been about four or five years since I’ve started to celebrate Thanksgiving in more of a traditional American way. It use to be a lot of McDonalds or KFC thanksgivings in the military. My relatives in the East Bay always volunteer to cook every year since I got out of the joint. I’ll have to say though, it ain’t bad. I enjoy everything they have to offer, mash potatoes, stuffing, creamy corn, yams (first time trying this year). I think the turkey is hit or miss since its kinda hard to cook a freakin ginormous anything. If it were me, I’d always have a roast duck on standby too. Hey, that’s just how my family thanksgivings roll. If its got wings, thumbs up then.
We had our second annual Thanksgiving dinner at the AROWANA crib since everyone’s going home for the holidays. The kitchen was a DANGER ZONE. Iron Chef Thanksgiving Edition. The BEST is not having paper towels to clean up with too! Bust out the VACUUM. But all in all, it was some mmm mmm good eatin’s. Great job to everyone! First time cooking and eating marshmallow yams baby! And probably the last time. haha.

ALSO ON A SPECIAL NOTE… WE HAVE A WINNER OF OUR T-SHIRT CONTEST. THE WINNER IS (DRUM ROLL PLEASE) TREMAINE GIBSON FROM MIDDLE OF NO WHERE, MISSISSIPPI. CONGRATS!!!
