I CAN SHOW YOU THE WORLD
Take you wonder by wonder… You’re probably wondering if I’ve lost my mind and the answer is YES but its ok. It’s the result of too much karaoking. Recently I was getting a little crazy at the karaoke bar for a birthday party. (Happy Birthday Lin) And as I was belting out my best Aladdin, it reminded me of the legendary Disney movie that has this secret subliminal message. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you are in for a treat!!!
The scene where Aladdin flies up to Jasmine’s balcony and gets scared off by her Tiger, he sneaks in a very quiet message to the teenagers. “Take off your clothes”. I swear its there and even though I found it off youtube, you should watch the actual DVD for yourself one day to prove this myth. Its crazy right! A Disney movie with a not so Disney message. No wonder people in the business hate Disney.
Which brings me to my next memory of something out of the blue in a movie. Ever heard of the ghost kid in Three Men and a Baby. This one, I have to warn you because it can be a bit disturbing. Watch behind the curtains when the grandma holds the baby, walks back to the other side of the room with Ted Danson. You’ll see the kid behind the curtains. BAM!!! And as they wipe across the kid, I swear he has a hat on now!!! WTF!!! Some stories say it was a kid that committed suicide on that sound stage where that scene was shot. Some say they found a gun on set too. I dunno what to believe but its def some freaky deaky stuff going on.

Back to Aladdin, did you know the person who sings as Jasmine is multi-awarded Filipino singer and actress LEA SALONGA. (GO SALONGA’S!!!) She’s very well known for her theater works like Miss Saigon and Les Misérables. Also Reflections from Mulan. AWESOMENESS! Here’s her website too.

disney’s great… in the little mermaid – there’s a scene where ursula (in disguise) is getting married to prince eric – look closely.. the priest gets a boner! and in the lion king… the scene where simba is depressed… he sighs on the mountaintop and sets off a bunch of leaves that go flying into the air… the leaves spell out s-e-x before rafiki finds them and sniffs them. check it out.
