I remember this being an all night shoot at a Chinese cafe on Fairfax from like 9pm to 5am. We had a bunch of cameos like the Finishing the Game cast, Sung, Roger, Jimmy, and McCaleb our token white guy. We also pulled out the favors to get special friends from the modeling world, Aiko, KT, and Helen. If Dim Sum entailed models in bikinis, I’d eat there everyday. Hell, someone should open a dim sum joint where instead of old ladies pushing carts, it would be girls in bikinis. GENIUS! Plus the FM boys came to represent, along with some of their peeps to help out as extras. Can’t forget Grace and Hosanna too. Thanks everyone!

Also I believe it was the first time collabing with our friends from Siho Media, Jason, David, and Dave. Jason Inouye was the DP (Director of Photography). He’s done a lot of videos like Black Eye Peas and a few features. So we knew we were in good hands. He did a great job giving the video a special look that we wanted. These guys are the shit!

I don’t think I’ve ever met a person who didn’t like Dim Sum. I think Dim Sum was originated on the Silk Road where they had teahouses for travelers to rest. At first they thought tea and food was a bad combination but later discovered that tea helped the digestion. And later is just became part of the Cantonese cuisine. I think my top five favorite dishes are
1. Har Gow – Shrimp Dumpling
2. Foong Jow – Chicken Feet (YUMMY!!!!)
3. Law Mai Gai – Sticky Rice w Chicken wrapped in leaf
4. Low Bak Gow – Fried Taro Turnip Cake
5. Don Tot – Egg Custard Dessert

What kind of talent is always available, always in a good mood, has their own lighting, never goes on strike, will work for food, and only needs water?

The talented Pisces which we all know as the Fish.

We’ve been working furtively and creatively on a series that I want to share with you all. This will be classified as the Pisces Project. This is the first project.

This concept is based on how we perceive a being exists from point A to point B. How does this existence from point A to point B relate to the whole journey? Hence in this video we explore the true essence of this goldfish’s existence. The sole purpose of most goldfish is to be raised only for food. Trapped in a transparent bag only to be able to see freedom. Life is point A, death is point B. And this allows us a question about reality, because existence does not end at point B, it is just part of the journey.

We talked about world politics, the economy, and even Zimpy’s chili in Hawaii. We had very similar views especially the representation of Asian Americans in Hollywood. I was impressed that he knew that the Departed was actually from China. He thought Infernal Affairs 2 was the best out of the three. He def understood where we were coming from and how if he could be the first African American President, then we could too make our mark in Hollywood. But once he said he liked Hanna Montana cuz of his daughters, he kinda lost some street cred with me.

One thing I must say, he is a smart man. I asked him any thoughts of strategies to get more people involved in the blog like subscribers or comments. He said give out something free. GENIUS!!! People love free shit. Then we played Nerf basketball for a few hours and I had to serve him. Finally I asked him what he thought of our Arowana shirts. He quickly said, Lemme see how it looks…ON ME!!! BAM!!! Obama Endorses Arowana Films!
