In this week’s installment of Arowana Friday we’ll be checking out a piece that was shot a few years ago as the intro for the indy movie, “Finishing the Game“. “Finishing the Game” is a mockumentary directed by Justin Lin where it explores the time when Bruce Lee unexpectedly past away leaving his passion project “The Game of Death” unfinished. There was heard to be about 15 minutes of footage that Bruce Lee did shoot with the fighting scenes going up the pagoda and fighting villains like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in his famous yellow jump suit. When “Enter the Dragon” was a worldwide hit in the box office, studios knew they had to cash in on Bruce’s unfinished project, “The Game of Death” (damn money grubbin studios)… So “Finishing the Game” is a mockumentary about the casting call to see who would fill the shoes of Bruce Lee for “The Game of Death”.
