Anyways, pit stopped at Kettlemen City for some gas and food. It came down to IN N OUT and MCDONALDS. Since McDonald’s was part of the gas station. Mickey D’s it was. The only thing that excites me about McDelish is the angus burgers. I dunno why. BUT to my discovery, they had none, no more, out! After ordering my 2 McChickens, the fly infestation problems they had behind the register became noticeable. I was the fortunate one, but Eric wasn’t. He ordered the Fish Filet. And usually when something takes a while to come out, means its a little more fresher. Ha, McD’s and fresh shouldn’t be used together. Anyways, we started eating and BA BA BAMN! Eric finds his sandwich to be absolutely grotesque. “What the hell?!” as I’m chomping down my McChicken. We examine the Fish Filet and its got mold on it. LOTS AND LOTS OF MOLD.

I mean what can you say after an experience like that. How can the dude preparing it not even notice the white spots on a brown bun. Of course Eric got his money back…with no apology from the manager of course. We couldn’t really sue. Eric didn’t eat it and get sick. Most we get is probably some gift certificates and a huge lawyer fee, maybe. And so we did the American thing to do and called corporate and complained. Here’s how they shut us up.

Twenty stinking dollars in gift certificates. COME ON!!! Someone could have gotten food poisoning in your store and you’re a million dollar corporation and you can only throw $20 bucks at us. We could have squeeze more out of them like $30 or $40. Well damn it, IT WORKED! It shut us up and we went on living happy. It was our first experience having the upper hand…for a moment. So what did we learn today. Don’t order the Fish Filet…maybe for a year or two. Don’t eat at McDon’t for a while…maybe for a month or two. Check what you are eating regardless of how hungry you are…DEFINITELY!!!

On a lighter shade of brown, we found this old music video commercial we did with the FM boys WAAAAY back when for the McDonald’s Big Mac campaign. Its an oldie but goodie. I can honestly say its making me hungry right now, but not enough to scarf down some McMoldy. NEVER SEEN BEFORE UNTIL NOW. AROWANA FRIDAY COMES A DAY EARLY. ENJOY!!!
