Monkey King was truly a childhood friend of mine. I think alot of Chinese American kids in the 80s got to grow up with this fantastic hero. Anyways, he has been recreated in modern movies, but this is one classic cartoon that has outmatched anything that has been remotely close to his presence. Does anyone remember him on Sesame Street when Big Bird visited China?
