From what we were told by the moderator Walt Louie, a great friend to us, he will be conducting the panel discussing about indy film making, surviving in the industry, and just shooting the shit, sort of speak. Everyone is invited to join us. I don’t think there’s any entrance fee. Just open minds and please, laugh at all our jokes. Jk. Well not really. But it should be an interesting event.

But for a special treat, we will be premiering a pilot webisode we have been working on entitled “Man From North Korea”. Its a story about a North Korean refugee that comes into Los Angeles to unveil footage of the concentration camps and mistreatment of people in North Korea to a human rights convention. But in his journey through K-town, Los Angeles, he is met with many obstacles and new and unusual surroundings. A very high price is put on this courageous refugee’s head to retrieve the footage back before the convention.

This project has been in development for many months and we are currently in the process of shooting the third episode. But I would like to treat you to some still photos from the pilot episode shoot. This is guerrilla film making at its finest.

VBS.TV has these webisodes of these guys that try and get into North Korea to film. Of course no one is allowed there but they got in. There’s 12 episodes but here’s the first one to see if it gets you interested. These guys are pretty crazy.
